My next review is for a company called Advanced Manumissions. They are a transmission shop located in Phoenix Oregon. They are the furthest thing from the dirty, greasy auto repair shop you typically think of. They are clean, friendly and really know what they are doing.

Shifting troubles are what brought me to doing business with Advanced Transmissions. I could not get it to go into 3rd gear. . Quite frankly I would be an easy target to get taken advantage of when it comes to vehicle repairs.  I was totally guessing that it was going to cost me a few hundred dollars or more to get my truck fixed.  I had heard really good things about Advanced so I crossed my fingers and took my truck to them.  

When they called me about an hour later I asked about what the big was going to be and held my breath.  Your total is $60 with parts and labor.  I was shocked to say the least. It was a very simple thing to fix. . They could have handed me a bill for a few hundred bucks and I would have paid it because I would not have known any better.  This is why I recommend them.  

These guys work with all brands of autos with automatic, manual and hybrid transmissions. Furthermore they work on clutches, differentials along with equipment of your vehicle that can be in direct connection to the transmission. I am unable to definitely state mainly because I'm not a car guy.

I highly recommend Advanced Transmissions because they are honest, fair and treat you right. Passion for what they do leads them to stay on top of their game by getting on average 40 hours a year of continuing education.  They are good at what they do. And they are all about taking care of their customers and creating relationships with you and your vehicle. They live up to their motto of “You Can Trust Us To Flush Your Transmission Not Your Wallet”.

Review Of Focus 1 Insurance

Focus 1 Insurance is my first company to review.  I know this will not come as great news to you.  They're an insurance company.  Don't roll your eyes at me. I saw that.  Don't worry. Want to know why I tell people I know to call these guys?

One of the coolest things I like about this company is the fact that they are independent insurance agents.  They are able to sell the products or insurance lines of quite a few different large insurance companies.  Besides price there is a reason these guys rock.  They can do your shopping for you. Why spend hours hunting for insurance quotes. . You often times get sold something that is wrong for you and your situation with those other "big" companies.  They try and make you fit into their little box which often times end up costing you more money.  

Eli Clark happens to be my insurance agent at Focus 1 Insurance. He totally rocks. How often do you hear that from someone about their insurance agent? However, I have met all of the other agents and I would not mind recommending you to them one bit. They really do care about their clients and are ready to fight for you when you need them. They live their slogan which is “Where The Focus Is On You”.

I give this company two thumbs up. Look, it's not just me either that says how great they are. Check out the reviews left by other people on their Google maps listing. . I almost forgot to mention that they are actively involved in the community too.  Call Focus 1 Insurance if it has been a while since you had your insurance reviewed or you are currently in the market for insurance.

For my next review I will be reviewing Dr. Lovich.  Dr. Lovich is Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons.  Dr Lovich had an amazing career and experiences. After he completed his fellowship he spent the next 12 years as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at David Grant Medical Center with special assignments as Director of the Craniofacial Board, and Medical Director of the Ambulatory Care Unit. I have never had the need to use any of his services for plastic or reconstructive surgery because I am perfect, yeah right.  Dr. Lovich is highly respected among the medical community in Southern Oregon.

I have always been impressed by Dr. Lovich every time I have met him. He is one heck of a smart guy.  But he does not have that air of egotism or snobbishness that doctors often have. And he has empathy for his patients.

When most people think of plastic surgery they are really thinking of cosmetic surgery. His practice is more plastic than cosmetic.  Plastic surgery is more about fixing issues with the body that were caused by an illness or an accident. Cosmetic surgery is more of an elective surgery i.e. breast implants.  

I can recommend Dr Lovich because of my personal knowledge of him, the vast respect the medical community has for him, and the experience he has under his belt.  Dr. Lovich is usually booked at least a few weeks out.  Even though he is crazy busy. He still offers free consultations where he will examine you and answer any questions you might have.
